ADAM MORRISON

CO-CHAIR, OFFSHORE WIND INDUSTRY COUNCIL

The UK Country Manager for Ocean Winds, a leading developer and operator in the offshore wind sector with a significant footprint in the UK. With nearly two decades of experience across the renewable energy industry, Adam serves as co-chair of the Offshore Wind Industry Council (OWIC), Chair of Scottish Renewables and sits on the board of RenewableUK.


ANAS SARWAR

LEADER SCOTTISH LABOUR PARTY

Anas Sarwar is Leader of the Scottish Labour Party and Member of the Scottish Parliament for the Glasgow Region. Anas was first elected as an MP for Glasgow Central in 2010 and was elected as Deputy Leader of Scottish Labour the following year.  In 2016 he was elected to the Scottish Parliament for the Glasgow Region.


ANDY MACDONALD

DIRECTOR, DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATIONS – ORE CATAPULT

Andy has responsibility for the Catapult’s extensive portfolio of projects in Smart Operations & Maintenance (O&M), working closely with offshore wind developers to accelerate the development of both fixed and floating offshore wind farms, reduce costs and grow the UK supply chain to meet both domestic and international demand for clean energy products and services.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE – NMIS, HVM CATAPULT

Chris Courtney joined the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) in late 2022, bringing a wealth of manufacturing and industrial experience built across senior roles in industry, consultancy, and public sector. Now based in Scotland, Chris plays a key role in shaping the country’s industrial and clean energy transformation at the High Value Manufacturing Catapult.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE – SCOTTISH RENEWABLES

Claire has been Chief Executive of Scottish Renewables, the representative voice of Scotland’s renewable energy industry, since October 2017. She is responsible for leading the organisation’s work to grow Scotland’s renewables sector and sustain its position at the forefront of the global clean energy industry.


DAN MCGRAIL

CHIEF EXECUTIVE – GB ENERGY

Dan McGrail is Great British Energy’s permanent CEO, seconded as Interim CEO in March 2025 from RenewableUK, where he has been Chief Executive since 2021. Previously at Siemens, he led Hull’s offshore wind factory investment, was Managing Director, Power Generation, then CEO, Siemens Engines, driving rebranding and growth since 2004.

Iain is Executive Director, at Global Energy Group, leading the development and implementation of the groups renewables & energy transition growth strategy.

Isla has experience across the public and private sector both nationally and internationally, working with developers, tier 1s and companies of all scale, she understands the challenges facing those involved in the sector, looking to get into the sector and shaping it to benefit all.


JANE COOPER

DEPUTY CEO (INTERIM CEO) – RENEWABLE UK

Jane champions RenewableUK’s more than 500 members to drive awareness of policy challenges, galvanise support and delivery of renewables, and publicly highlight the sector’s benefits. Jane also heads the Offshore Wind Delivery Team, working closely with the Offshore Wind Industry Council (OWIC) to align the Government’s ambitions for the Offshore Wind Acceleration Programme with tangible actions.


JONATHAN BRYERS

INVESTMENTS MANAGER- OWGP

Jonathan Bryers joined OWGP as interim Investments Manager. With over 27 years investment and innovation experience mainly in the energy and sustainability sector. Jonathan has worked for firms such as 350 Investment Partners, Guiness Ventures, IP Group, Carbon Trust and more.


KATE FORBES

DEPUTY FIRST MINISTER – SCOTLAND

Kate Forbes is the Member of the Scottish Parliament for the Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch constituency (which includes Dingwall, the Black Isle and the Great Glen). She is the Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for the Economy and Gaelic in the Scottish Government.


ROB GILBERT

Director of Supply Chain – GB Energy

Rob leads the development and delivery of national supply chain strategy to support the UK’s energy transition. His remit includes driving industrial capacity, supporting local content and workforce development, and securing resilient supply networks across offshore wind, solar, and transmission infrastructure.

Head of Energy Services & Infrastructure, Gneiss Energy

Senior Energy sector finance professional with extensive sector relationships with corporate, institutional and professional advisory contacts. 15yrs experience across the Energy industry with a track record of delivery across M&A, capital raising (debt and equity) and strategic advisory. Significant experience across the offshore wind sector including corporate M&A and technology fundraising.

RONNIE BONNAR

CHAIR OF THE BOARD – ORE CATAPULT

Having started his career in oil and gas, in 2016, he set up his own consultancy business focussed on the renewables sector in the UK and abroad, and joined the board of ORE Catapult in 2018, becoming Chair three years later. Ronnie is also a former Chair of Scottish Renewables.

Steve is the CEO of the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult, where he is focussed on advancing the UK’s renewable energy capabilities, particularly in offshore wind, to help the country achieve its net zero goals.

Tim is a seasoned energy projects professional with more than 25 years experience in major international law firms advising on the development and financing of some of the largest and most complex energy projects around the word. Tim is a passionate advocate for the UK’s future energy system, and in particular for the opportunities it present for supply chains and communities.

Verdeep is responsible for infrastructure investment at The Crown Estate, with a focus on supporting the construction of new port and supply chain infrastructure for the offshore wind industry. The aim is to deliver financial, social and environmental value for the nation through The Crown Estate’s £50m Supply Chain Accelerator and £350m Supply Chain Investment Programme.
